This is an ultra rare find. I used to collect Topps Nintendo Game Packs as a child when they were available at retail. To my surprise I discovered that my beloved Nintendo card collection had a 2nd Series made by O-PEE-CHEE in Canada. Even back in the 1990’s these 2nd Series cards were very rare to come by. Note that the 2nd Series is not as good in quality as the 1st Series. The paper used for the cards seems to be recycled. Also the artwork looks second tier compared to the first edition. Nonetheless, it is VERY RARE and I would think that if you are purchasing this, you are not planning to open them up and play with them. This box was difficult to find as a kid 25 years ago. It is MUCH MORE difficult to find today. This set of cards features Super Mario who is equally as iconic as Pokémon in pop culture. Yet this box is quite possibly more elusive than Pokémon TCG 1st edition. You will likely NEVER find this box again in this condition. It is an unopened box. It is taped shut. This is how I received it back in 1998. May have been this way from the factory. The tape is now discolored with age. Contains 48 wax packs.
