12 packs in the box, each pack has 4 cards. At least two autographs can be found in every pack of Extended series, with the chance at four in a pack. Extended gives you a shot at Derek Jeter, Greg Maddux, Pedro Martinez. Frank Thomas, Tony Gwynn. Randy Johnson and ton of other great names of the era. 1996 Leaf Signature Series is a 150-card set released in two series. The first 100 cards were issued as part of the Leaf Signature Series set in August, 1996; while the final 50 cards came out in January, 1997 as part of the Extended Series. Leaf Signature was one of the more significant products ever issued as it was the first to include an autographed card in every pack. The production of the Extended Series was less than half of the first series and each pack contained two autographs and one pack in every 12-pack Hobby box yielded four autographs. Extended Series packs had a selected of base cards from both series, making the Extended Series base cards very difficult to find.
