The one and only, First Edition Neo Genesis Booster Box, released December 16, 2000. The box that begun the new generation of pokemon. The scarcity of this box is real, and it has just gone up and up in value over the years. This box is rarer than unlimited base set boxes. A tough decision but it is what I want to focus on, working my way towards another 1st edition base set box. The condition is listed as’New’ because it has not been opened however the box is in Very Good condition 6/10, mint condition being 10/10 no dents or wear at all. As shown in photos the two front top corners have significant dents, specifically the left side near 1st edition stamp. This is not enough damage to warrant any issues for the packs inside, they will still be in perfect mint condition. The entire plastic wrapping is still in good condition with a small 6mm hole on the top and bottom. The wizzards white stamp is starting to wear on the top also. Hi-res images (copy + paste). My collection is always maintained in optimal conditions. The item/s listed here have been stored in a sealed container for many years, away from moisture, light, heat and dust. Centred 50/50 to 60/40 % front, 75/25 % reverse. 9 Near Mint/Mint – A minor flaw: slight wax stain on reverse, minor printing imperfection, slightly off-white borders. Centred 60/40 – 65/35 front, 90/10 reverse. 8 Near Mint – Same as 9 but also: slightest fraying at one or two corners. Centred 65/35 – 70/30 front, 90/10 reverse 7 Excellent – Slight surface wear, slight fraying on some corners, focus slightly off, printing blemish, slight wax staining on reverse. Centred 70/30 – 75/25 front, 90/10 reverse. 6 Very Good – Visible surface wear, very light scratch upon close inspection, corners slightly graduated fraying, slight notching on edges. Centred 80/20 front, 90/10 reverse. 5 Good – Surface wear or printing defects are more visible, minor edge chips, several light scratches. Centred 85/15 front, 90/10 reverse. 4 Good – Corners start showing some wear, surface wear noticeable, slight scuffing/scratches, small crease. 3 Played – Same as 4 but more wear on corners, borders discolored, visible crease, print defects, slight stain on front. Centred 90/10 front & reverse. 2 Played – Obvious corner wear, scratching/scuffing/light stained/chipped on front, several creases, card discoloration. 1 Poor – Extreme wear on corners, scuffing, scratching, pitting, chipping and staining on front, dirt, creases, warping. The only circumstance when a return will be issued is if a substantial error in condition report has been made by me.
